Every call answered, day or night.

Flooring Canada Kelowna sells and installs floors from its showroom on Banks Road in Kelowna. We built its booking page, its AI phone line and a verified list of its past customers.

Flooring Canada Kelowna sells and installs hardwood, luxury vinyl, laminate, carpet and tile from its showroom on Banks Road, as part of the Flooring Canada network. Since August 2026 we have built three systems for it: a booking page on the store's own domain, an AI phone line that answers every call and books showroom visits, and a cleaned, verified list of past customers with a fall email series written for them. The phone line went live on 22 September 2026 and the booking page on 26 September. Alongside them we read the store's sales reports, which led it to drop its digital marketing agency and gave it a plan for commercial outreach.

The store had the reviews but not the visibility. In July 2026 it had 248 Google reviews at 4.8 stars and still appeared in Google's map results for 1 of 12 common Kelowna flooring searches, and on searches for hardwood, laminate, tile and vinyl it sat on the second page. Its website is a template from the network that the store cannot change much. A call reached a person only while the showroom was open. Two decades of customer records sat in exports from the store's sales system, in files that did not agree on how a customer's name was written.

People choose a floor in person. They want to see the materials and what each one costs before anyone measures their house, and many of them start by phoning after work. So the work was to get more of them into the showroom: answer every call at any hour, make booking a visit a short form on a page the store controls, and reach the customers who have already bought from it. The Flooring Canada network does not provide its stores an AI phone line or a booking page like this, so the store is testing both ahead of the rest of the network.

What is in place.

Live since September 2026, and the search baseline the work is measured against.

24/7

Every call answered

The booking line answers at any hour, books showroom visits and texts the caller a confirmation. While the showroom is open, a caller who asks for a person is put through to it.

3,917

Past-customer email addresses verified

Two decades of customer records merged into one list, the store's do-not-contact list applied, and every address checked before the first email goes out.

The systems at Flooring Canada Kelowna

The AI Website, the AI Receptionist and the AI Growth Engine, set up for a flooring showroom.

AI Website

A website that answers questions and books the work.

How it works

A booking page at book.flooringcanadakelowna.ca, on the store's own domain and separate from the network template, built around one action: book a free consultation at the showroom.

  • Built to the Flooring Canada brand, so it matches the network's own website and the store's showroom
  • The form asks for a floor type, a day from the next seven days the showroom is open, and morning or afternoon
  • Every request emails and texts the owner as soon as it is sent
  • The questions customers ask before a visit are answered on the page: what the consultation covers, what to bring, and how the in-home measure follows it
  • The domain moved to Cloudflare to serve it, and the store's existing website and business email were left as they were

What it changed

Booking a showroom visit no longer waits for the store to open. The page has been live on the store's domain since 26 September 2026.

AI Receptionist

Every call answered and booked, 24/7.

How it works

An AI voice agent on its own phone number, on ElevenLabs and Twilio. It knows the store's floors, services and hours, and it tells callers it is an AI assistant.

  • Books a showroom consultation on the call and texts the caller a confirmation
  • Takes a message when a caller wants something else, and sends it to the owner by email and text
  • Puts a caller who asks for a person through to the showroom while it is open, and falls back to the showroom line if the agent cannot answer
  • Every phone number on the booking page is this line, so a visitor who would rather talk books the same visit

What it changed

A call to the booking line is answered at any hour, including when the showroom is closed. Live since 22 September 2026.

AI Growth Engine

Marketing that goes out every month, without you.

How it works

A past-customer email system: two decades of the store's customer records merged into one list, every address verified, and a fall email series written from the owner's own stories and the store's pricing process.

  • Customer files from the store's sales system merged on name, reordered name and phone number, because the files wrote names differently
  • The store's do-not-contact list applied, and every address verified with a mailbox check before the first send
  • The list split into five groups by what each customer bought and how long ago, each with its own opening email, and into seven send batches with the most recent customers first
  • A customer database that keeps every removed address off the list for good, even when the store sends a new export
  • Mail goes from a separate sending subdomain, so the store's own business email is not put at risk
  • A five-email fall series, one email a week, each with one action: call the booking line or book online

What it changed

Written, verified and ready to send. The first email goes out once the owner approves the copy.

Custom AI, beyond the three systems

We read 82 weeks of the store's sales reports and showed where its business comes from.

The store's weekly sales reports were screenshots pasted into documents. We read 82 weeks of them into one dataset, checked every total against the report's own arithmetic, and put weekly sales on a year-over-year chart in the store's client portal. The written analysis showed where the store's customers come from and how its quotes turn into sales, and the store now reviews every open quote over $5,000 each week. On our advice it gave notice to its digital marketing agency, whose ads stopped in September 2026, and asked us to start a Google Ads test aimed at the booking page in its place. We also went through what the store pays for in IT with the owner, system by system.

  • 82 weeks of weekly sales reports read from screenshots and checked against their own totals
  • A year-over-year weekly sales chart in the store's client portal
  • Opportunities sorted by where they came from and quotes compared with sales, which led to a weekly review of every open quote over $5,000
  • The store's digital marketing agency let go on our advice, with a Google Ads test planned in its place
  • A review of the store's IT costs with the owner: what each provider charges for and the systems it manages, and the store's domain moved to Cloudflare
  • The store's sales software checked with its vendor, which plans no new features for it before a replacement platform in 2027
  • A commercial outreach plan: six kinds of trade customer ranked by fit, from property managers to restoration contractors and builders, the person to call at each, a weekly call rhythm, and about 350 to 400 accounts in the Central Okanagan

This is bespoke work under Custom AI, not part of any packaged tier.

Where these numbers come from

Each figure, with the source it came from and the date it was taken.

  • The network does not provide its stores an AI phone line or a booking page like this

Our review of the programs the Flooring Canada network offers its stores, before the work began: a template website, a room visualizer, national promotions, a paid digital marketing program and a customer database, with its AI work limited to staff training and merchandising. Checked 3 July 2026.

  • Phone line live 22 September 2026, booking page live 26 September 2026

The first call record on the ElevenLabs agent (22 September 2026) and the Cloudflare activation of the store's domain, after which the booking page served from book.flooringcanadakelowna.ca (26 September 2026, Pacific time). Checked 9 October 2026.

  • Calls answered 24/7, with transfer to the showroom while it is open

The agent's configuration: it answers every call to the booking line at any hour, and its transfer tool and the Twilio fallback both point at the showroom line. Checked 9 October 2026.

  • Two decades of customer records

The store's sales-system exports merged for the email list, which hold purchase records dated from November 2005 to September 2026, in files the store sent from August 2026 on. Checked 9 October 2026.

  • 3,917 past-customer addresses verified

ZeroBounce mailbox verification of 4,518 unique addresses, run after the store's do-not-contact list was applied. 3,917 came back deliverable; 186 are held for a later send and the rest are suppressed. Checked 5 October 2026.

  • 1 of 12 searches in Google's map results, with 248 reviews at 4.8 stars

Live Google results for 12 Kelowna flooring searches, pulled through DataForSEO for Kelowna on desktop on 3 July 2026, before the work began. The review count and rating are the ones Google showed beside the listing that day. Store searches ranked 2 to 6 in the regular listings; hardwood, laminate, tile and vinyl searches ranked 12 to 15. Checked 3 July 2026.

  • 82 weeks of sales reports

The store's weekly sales reports for 2025 and 2026 to week 30, read by OCR and checked against each report's own totals. The chart has been live in the client portal since 7 August 2026. The sales figures belong to the store and stay private. Checked 7 August 2026.

  • The digital marketing agency let go on our advice, and a Google Ads test asked for in its place

Our recommendation to the owner of 1 September 2026; the owner's email of 2 September asking to start the Google Ads test plan once the agency's advertising stopped; his notice to the agency of 9 September; and the agency's confirmation that its ads had stopped, forwarded to us on 29 September. Checked 9 October 2026.

  • IT costs reviewed, and no new features for the sales software before 2027

The owner's own IT, phone and software costs (4 July 2026), the IT providers' invoices sent to us for comparison (7 August 2026), our requests to both providers for an inventory of the systems they manage (1 August and 22 September 2026), and the software vendor's email of 27 August 2026 saying all its development has moved to a new platform due in mid 2027. The costs belong to the store and stay private. Checked 9 October 2026.

  • About 350 to 400 commercial accounts in the Central Okanagan

The written analysis delivered on 8 August 2026, which sized the outreach plan from the Canadian Home Builders' Association Central Okanagan member directory and counts of strata and property managers, restoration branches, realty offices, designers and hospitality businesses. It is a sizing, not a list of named accounts. Checked 8 August 2026.

  • A weekly review of every open quote over $5,000

The owner's email of 12 August 2026, four days after the analysis was delivered, setting up the weekly review with the sales team. Checked 9 October 2026.
