MannVenture vs Durable

Both of them give you a website. Only one of them replies to the customer who lands on it, quotes the work, and books it.

Okanagan Wedding Co., built and run on this system.

The short answer

Durable builds you a website. We build you a front office. Durable's Launch plan is $22 USD/mo billed yearly and it will publish a site faster than we will. It does not answer your phone, because it is not a phone product. Our AI Website is $97 CAD a month plus a one-time $497, and the difference in price is the difference between a site that waits and a site that replies. If nobody is missing your calls, buy Durable.

What Durable actually is

Durable is an AI business builder. Its own headline promise is “Get online in 30 seconds”, and the published product list is a long one: AI Website Builder, Website Templates, AI Image Generator, AI Blog Generator, AI Brand Builder, AI Business Name Generator, AI Logo Generator, AI image studio, SEO & GEO, Reviews, Bookings, CRM, Payment processing.

The pricing is public and it is low. The free tier is $0 USD. Launch is $22 USD/mo billed yearly, or $25 USD/mo billed monthly. Grow is $41 USD/mo billed yearly, or $49 USD/mo billed monthly.

That is a genuinely good product at a genuinely low price, and this page is not going to pretend otherwise.

Sources: durable.com and durable.com/pricing, checked 20 July 2026. There is no phone, voice or call-answering item anywhere in that list, which is the whole difference this page is about. Durable is not a phone product and has never said it was.

Where Durable beats us

Four of them, and none of them has a “but” attached.

Price.

$22 USD/mo billed yearly against $97 CAD a month is not a close call, and there is no framing that makes it one.

Speed.

Durable publishes a site in about the time it takes to read this sentence. Ours takes fourteen days, because a person writes it and you approve it.

A free tier.

You can have a Durable site today for nothing. We have no free tier.

Self-service.

You can start Durable at midnight without talking to anyone. We start with a call.

Sources: durable.com/pricing and Durable's terms of service, checked 20 July 2026. Those are US-dollar prices, published by their owners in US dollars. Ours are in Canadian dollars and exclude tax. We have not converted anything: a converted total is a number nobody published. We have put our own gap in the last row because you were going to find it anyway.

A website that waits, and a website that replies

Both of these are websites. The difference is what happens in the hours between an enquiry arriving and somebody reading it.

A website builder ships this

Contact us

9:40 PM. The form is submitted. Nothing else happens until somebody opens the inbox.

This one goes to work

  1. 9:40 PM. “What does a panel upgrade run on a 1970s house?”
  2. Answered. In your words, with your prices. Two questions back, the ones you would have asked.
  3. Quoted. $2,400 - $3,100, on the spot.
  4. Booked. Thursday at ten. Confirmation to them, summary to you.

You were asleep for all of it.

The site we built for Okanagan Wedding Co. is live, and it was built and is run on this system. Open it and judge the work yourself. How the site gets found in the first place is the other half of the same argument.

What each one costs over three years

Durable, Launch

$792USD over three years

$22 USD/mo billed yearly is $264 USD in year one, with no implementation fee, and the same again in years two and three.

AI Website

$3,989CAD over three years

$497 once plus $97 CAD a month is $1,661 CAD in year one, then $97 a month after that.

Sources: durable.com/pricing and Durable's terms of service, checked 20 July 2026. Those are US-dollar prices, published by their owners in US dollars. Ours are in Canadian dollars and exclude tax. We have not converted anything: a converted total is a number nobody published.

Those two totals are $792 USD and $3,989 CAD over the same three years, each in the currency its owner publishes in. The question this page is actually asking is whether the jobs you currently lose to a slow reply are worth the gap between them.

Buy Durable if this is you

Durable is the right buy when

  • You need a site online this week and the budget is genuinely under fifty dollars a month.
  • Your enquiries come by email or form and you answer them at your desk.
  • Your phone does not ring, or when it does you are already holding it.
  • You want to run it yourself and you enjoy that.
  • You are testing whether the business is real before spending on it.

Ours is the right buy when

  • Your phone rings while your hands are full and you find out hours later.
  • You have lost work to whoever called back first.
  • You do not want to be the person who builds and maintains the site.
  • You want one invoice and one number to call when something is wrong.

If you read the left column and recognised yourself, buy Durable. We would rather you did that than pay us for something you do not need yet.

The questions this comparison raises

Because you are buying different amounts of work. Durable is software you operate: you prompt it, you edit it, you keep it current. Ours includes a person writing your pages, building the site, training the agent on your services and prices, and keeping it running, plus two edits a month and a monthly report card. And there is a product on our side that does not exist on theirs, which is the phone.

Yes, and that is a reasonable way to do it. Keep your Durable site and buy the answering separately. Ours is $97 CAD a month plus a one-time $297; the comparison against the other answering options is on our answering service page.

We can work from it or replace it, and we will tell you which we think is right after we have looked at it. Your domain stays yours either way: if you bought it through Durable you keep it and point it at the new site, and if you are on a Durable subdomain you will need your own domain, which we set up.

Ours is stated plainly: One-year term, billed monthly. At the end of the year it renews for another twelve months at the then-current rate, unless you tell us before it does. If you leave before the term is up, early termination is 3 months of the monthly subscription: $291 CAD at $97 a month. The one-time implementation fee covers work already delivered and is not refunded. Durable's own terms of service say a subscription "will automatically renew for successive periods equivalent to the Initial Term; written notice of its intention not to renew not less than 30 days prior to the end of the then current Term", and that "Fees are non-cancelable and non-refundable". So the comparison is a one-year term with a stated exit charge against a term that renews itself unless you give notice in a thirty-day window. Both are commitments; ours is the one that tells you the number.

Two things you can check yourself, and we are not going to pad the list. Okanagan Wedding Co. at okanaganwed.com is a live site we built and run on this system, so you can open it and judge the work. And our own phone line is answered by the AI we sell, so you can call it and ask it for a quote. The numbers behind that build are written up on our case studies page, every figure with the instrument it came from and the date it was checked. We have one customer story and not a wall of logos, and we would rather say that plainly.

Go and look at one we built

It is a live customer site, running on the same system this page is describing. Ask its agent a question and see what it does with it.
