Healthcare and regulated industry marketing.
Our team runs marketing for companies whose claims are governed by regulators, professional bodies or their own compliance teams: claims tied to their evidence, drafts routed through your approval process, and programs built for buying committees that check a vendor before trusting it.
What MannVenture's regulated-industry marketing involves
MannVenture plans and runs marketing for healthcare and life sciences, aviation and aerospace, and financial services companies in British Columbia, with a review step built into each piece of work. What a company in these industries may say, to whom and how is set by law, by regulators and by its own compliance team, and the work is organized around that review. The people planning it come from revenue and digital transformation work at companies doing up to $60M a year.
How claim review works
Step 1
Source each claim
Each claim in a draft is tied to its evidence: a study, a certification, an approval, a rate sheet or an internal record.
Step 2
Route for approval
Drafts go to the reviewers you name (legal, compliance, clinical or quality) in the order your process requires, with each comment tracked.
Step 3
Keep the record
Approved versions, reviewer sign-off and dates are kept, so a published claim can be traced to its approval.
Step 4
Review on a schedule
Published pages and campaigns are checked again when a product, a rate or a regulation changes, and on a set calendar.
Industries we cover
Healthcare and life sciences
For healthcare, that includes clinics, health technology companies, medical device and life sciences companies, and suppliers to the health system. The Food and Drugs Act prohibits advertising a drug or a medical device in a manner that is false, misleading or deceptive.
Aviation and aerospace
Operators, maintenance organizations, and software and parts suppliers selling to airlines, charter operators and government buyers. Buyers check certifications, approvals and safety records, so each claim about them is written from the document it refers to.
Financial services
Fintech, lending, insurance and advisory firms. The Financial Consumer Agency of Canada supervises federally regulated financial institutions on consumer protection, provincially regulated firms answer to their provincial regulator, and your compliance team reviews each claim about returns, rates and approvals before it is published.
Canadian rules that shape the work
These are context for the review process. Your compliance team or counsel decides how they apply to your business.
CASL
Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation applies to commercial electronic messages sent to an email, instant messaging, telephone or similar account, and requires consent, identification of the sender and a working unsubscribe. The lists and sequences we run record consent, identify the sender and carry a working unsubscribe, and your counsel confirms the setup.
Competition Act
The Competition Act prohibits representations to the public that are false or misleading in a material respect. A claim about a product's performance, efficacy or length of life, or about its environmental benefits, has to be based on an adequate and proper test. Each claim we write is recorded with the evidence behind it.
Privacy
Personal information collected through forms and campaigns falls under PIPEDA. An organization operating entirely within British Columbia falls under the province's Personal Information Protection Act instead, unless the information crosses provincial or national borders.
Industry rules
Health product advertising, professional advertising standards and financial promotion rules vary by product and province. Your compliance team or counsel sets the rules for your business, and our review process applies them.
Selling to buying committees
Purchases in these industries pass through clinical or technical, legal, procurement and executive review, and each reviewer checks the vendor before trusting it. We present the evidence, the outcomes and the security and compliance documents your company already holds where each reviewer looks for them, and run demand generation and account-based programs aimed at the roles on the committee.
Claim discipline our team practises
Each third-party figure on this website carries its source and the date it was checked, and a figure we cannot source comes off the page. A regulated company's marketing gets the same record, with your reviewers' approvals added to it.
