Twenty hours a week back to the owner.

OWC Decor rents wedding and event décor across BC. It runs on all three systems, plus custom AI we built to automate its Google Ads.

OWC Decor rents curated décor collections, statement arches, tablescapes, seating charts and candlelight installations, for weddings and events across Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley and the Okanagan. It runs on all three of our systems, plus custom AI we built to automate its Google Ads. All three went live in four weeks: the receptionist and the growth engine in February 2026, the website in March. Between the receptionist and the growth engine, the owner has roughly 20 hours a week back.

The front of the business ran on the owner's own hours. Availability and pricing questions arrived by text and email all season and were answered one at a time, by her. Leads were tracked in HubSpot. Invoices and credit card authorizations were processed by hand after every confirmed booking. There was no organic search presence, so demand depended on Instagram and word of mouth, and the advertising that did run needed her sitting down to manage it.

A décor rental business is an inventory business that sells like a service business. Every inquiry is really a question about whether a specific piece is free on a specific weekend, and answering it well means knowing what is on the shelf, what is already booked, and what else would sit nicely beside it. That knowledge usually lives in one person's head, so the business was limited by her hours. The work moved it into systems that answer with it at any hour, without her.

What she got back.

Hours back to the owner, confirmed by her.

~10 hrs

Back from the AI Receptionist

About ten hours a week. Customer support runs automatically: bookings and inventory requests get answered without her.

~10 hrs

Back from the AI Growth Engine

About another ten hours a week. The growth work runs on its own rather than waiting for her to sit down to it.

~20 hrs

Back every week, in total

Roughly twenty hours a week returned to the owner of the business, across the two systems.

OWC Decor runs three of our systems and one custom build.

The three systems at OWC Decor

The AI Website, the AI Receptionist and the AI Growth Engine, set up for a décor rental company.

AI Website

A website that answers questions and books the work.

How it works

owcdecor.com was built with AI: page speed and search structure, the rental catalogue, the imagery, and a mobile layout that carries the inquiry path rather than burying it.

  • Built the site with AI end to end, optimized for page speed and search, with clean navigation and the rental catalogue integrated
  • Mobile-responsive layout built around the inquiry path, since most of this audience arrives from a phone
  • Structured data, an llms.txt file and question-led headings, so assistants can read the business directly

What it changed

In nine test prompts run in July 2026 across ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI Mode, five answers named the business and linked to the site, all on Fraser Valley and Kelowna queries. Organic search to the site's own pages went from 18 clicks in the 22 days before it launched to 102 in the 22 days to 19 July 2026, on 2,542 impressions against 165. Search Console figures, organic only. The growth engine was running over the same months and this is peak season, so the site is not the only thing that moved.

AI Receptionist

Every call answered and booked, 24/7.

How it works

An AI assistant on SMS and Facebook Messenger, on Twilio and the Claude API, reading her real price list and stock quantities every turn, so somebody asking what an arch costs gets the price instead of waiting for a reply.

  • An SMS and Messenger assistant that reads her live price list and stock quantities, answers the question asked, suggests complementary pieces, and handles objections in her brand's voice
  • An automatic first reply by email to every new inquiry, so nothing waits while she is on a delivery or styling an event
  • The team is notified with a transcript of what the assistant already covered, so a human picking up the thread starts with the context

What it changed

Automated customer support. Bookings and inventory requests are handled without her, clearing about 10 hours a week.

AI Growth Engine

Marketing that goes out every month, without you.

How it works

An automated content pipeline for organic search, a custom CRM in place of HubSpot, and a Square invoice sent the moment a booking confirms.

  • An SEO content pipeline that researched the keywords, drafted the posts, texted her for approval, and published 18 posts under her byline between February and June 2026, each targeting a city she delivers to
  • A custom CRM in place of the one she was paying for, tracking every lead from first touch through booking, delivery and follow-up
  • Invoicing that generates and sends the bill with a secure payment link as soon as a booking confirms, so no card is keyed in by hand
  • Booking-triggered sequences that suggest matching tablescapes and candlelight packages against the event date and what is in stock

What it changed

The growth work runs without her sitting down to it, clearing about another 10 hours a week.

Custom AI, outside the packaged systems

We built a custom AI system that runs OWC Decor's Google Ads.

We built it for OWC Decor alone. It automates the Google Ads management process end to end, so the owner no longer manages the account and works with the ads through the system instead of through Google's ad interface.

  • A custom AI system that automates Google Ads management
  • The owner no longer manages the ad account by hand
  • The owner works with the ads through the system instead of Google's ad interface

This is bespoke work, not part of the Complete System or any packaged tier.

Where these numbers come from

Each figure, with the source it came from and the date it was taken.

  • Four weeks from the first commit to all three systems live

Commit history and GitHub Actions deploy records across the two OWC Decor repositories. First commit 15 February 2026. First successful production deploy: the automation platform carrying the receptionist and the growth engine on 16 February 2026, the website on 15 March 2026. Checked 20 July 2026.

  • 18 posts under her byline, February to June 2026

Counted from the live sitemap and reconciled against the posts in the website repository. 23 posts carry her byline; the 18 are the ones dated inside the content pipeline's operating window. Checked 20 July 2026. See the source

  • Organic search: 18 clicks to 102, and 165 impressions to 2,542

Google Search Console for okanaganwed.com (the site's domain until October 2026), counting the site's own pages and not the blog. Two windows of equal length: 21 February to 14 March 2026, and 28 June to 19 July 2026. Organic search only, so direct, referral, social and paid traffic are not in it. Checked 20 July 2026.

  • Named and linked by ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI Mode

Nine prompts run on the three surfaces the way a customer would phrase them, with ChatGPT and Perplexity queried logged out so no account history could favour the brand. Five answers named the business and linked to the site, on Fraser Valley and Kelowna queries; two of those five came back on prompts that named Kelowna outright. She was not cited on any Vancouver-framed query on any of the three surfaces. These answers are regenerated per query and can change. Checked 20 July 2026.

  • About 20 hours a week back, about 10 from each of the two systems

The owner's own account of her week, given to us and approved by her for publication. She puts about ten hours a week on the receptionist and about another ten on the growth engine. It is her estimate, not a timesheet. Checked 20 July 2026.
