Who it is for.
Teams whose AI accounts mostly get used to reword emails, and owners who want a written policy before staff start pasting client files into a chatbot. Nobody needs to be technical, and it is the course to start with if your team has never had any AI training.
Tools covered: ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini
What we cover.
- 1
Which assistant suits which job
The four assistants your staff are most likely to have, compared on your own tasks, with what each paid plan adds and when the free version is enough.
- 2
Requests that come back usable
Giving the assistant the background, an example and the format you want, so the first draft needs editing rather than starting again.
- 3
Documents, email and meetings
Summarising a long file and answering a customer in your company's tone, then turning a meeting transcript into actions with a name and a date on each.
- 4
Checking the answer
Assistants invent facts and figures with complete confidence. We show where that happens most often and a two-minute routine for catching it.
- 5
What stays out
Client and employee information under Canadian privacy law, the settings that stop your data being used to train models, and a one-page policy your team can adopt.
What you can do afterwards.
- Choose an assistant for a task and give it your company's context once, so you are not retyping it every time.
- Write requests that produce a first draft that needs only light edits.
- Spot an invented fact before it goes out.
- Follow a short written policy on what never goes into an AI tool.

What people ask about this course.
No. Everything in the session works on the free versions, and we show where a paid plan saves enough time to be worth it for your business.
It covers the practical side: which information stays out of AI tools, and the settings that keep your data out of model training. Have a lawyer review any policy before you adopt it.
A 2-hour 1:1 session is $399 CAD. A workshop for up to 12 people is $999 CAD for a half day of 4 hours, or $1,999 CAD for a full day of 8. All prices are plus tax, and a workshop at your office adds travel at cost.
1:1 sessions are online, on a video call. Team workshops run online or at your office anywhere in BC.
